compare what it would cost to fix it as opposed to just swapping. Remember that if you swap to a bseries you will need new axles, shift linkage, tranny, ECU, mounts. If you go with a Y8 swap, you will need to replace the ECU to match the Engine. Figure everything you'd need into the cost of each and then make your decision based on the price differences and what you can afford.
