i appreciate both sides of the spectrum like random said. its about the amount of time and work spent on stuff. i mean, a tasteless aluminum wing and chrome tail lights don't show any signs of work or care.. but if you mold on, shave off everything you can.. and you do it properly and with care.. then you've got determination and a love for your car.. the same love jdm whores have for their cars. i would love to go all oem, jdm products because i know the quality would be superior.. but sometimes its just so much easier and cheaper to throw in a little DIY or show mods. i know my car isn't a "jdm civic" cuz i can't afford those products.. but i think its a clean tastful looking car. it makes me happy
