if you work at a dealership why not get yourself a 97-01 5sp lude??? that way you got a manual tranny and you got 200hp. the best of both worlds.

if you work at the dealer don't trade your car in, sell it on the lot privately. it will be hard to sell especially with an auto tranny. don't expect a lot of money for it, you'd be lucky to sell it for anything more than NADA value.
