I like that pic with both cars.
I'd guess the tires are playing a large role. The stock issue tires leave quite a bit to be desired.
It may even be party due to the fact that you are more used to the I4 car and feel more confident pushing it.
Just put some sticky tires and performance springs, shocks, sways and you'll be golden.
