I just did an engine swap on my buddies 91 civic (JDM ZC) and I learned a lot about engines from it. I heard of ppl saying that advancing the timing would gain some high end power. I would like to try this on my 6th gen. Have any of you advanced your timing? By how much should I advance?

I still don't know how to count degrees with a timing light, but I know how to set it for the stock timing. If you give exact numbers let me know how to set it to the correct degree.

What should I expect from the new timing? Probably not much, but I don't mind experimenting.
