what you seem to be typing is a series wiring... that would give you an 8 ohm resistance. the Jensen amp surely wont give you any where near 500 watts @ 4 ohms, nor 700 @ 2.
if you want to stress the amp you can run it @ 2 ohms, but I'd just suggest doing as you said and running it @ 8 ohms. At least it may last a few days without any magic smoke pouring out of it
yes the Blue's are svc 4's
