regardless, you can still row the boat with an automatic
instead of mashing the pedal to downshift, just drop it down to d3, or for fast accel, go down to 2. Works just as well :dunno:
and no, its not that bad for the tranny. The only thing that really fawks up automatics is A) neutral drops, and B) parking without the ebrake.
