i understand that u mean, turbo cars are unreliable, but i dont think you should mislead him with that exaggeration, i dont think 50 year old grandpa's who had the old gen rx-7s, ALL were car experts or lovers, they simply wanted a nice lookin sports car, my X gf's neighbor had one, and i guarantee u, cuz i spoke to him several times, he also had several bikes, that he worked on his car 4 times a week, he was a businessman always traveling. and 2nd, i have plenty of friends with rx-7s, supras, and the NEW WRX STI and new EVO's, which are damn quick stock cars, that COME with turbo, and i kno, some of these newbs, DO NOT know how to work on their turbo cars even, if its not boosting right, spooling when its supposed to, etc, running rich or lean, and they do NOT work on their cars 4 times a week, nor did my friends with their rotary engine with turbos, work 7 times a week. so, to the person who made this thread, just prepared that basically, your car wont be as a reliable as an accord obviously, and of course you take a risk whenever u buy any used car, or upgrade your car to a turbo, but doesn't mean ur doomed for repairing and checking ur car every week.
