hahahahahhhaahaahaha; I've never done that, and I don't intend to, it just doesn't sound like a good thing to do. My tranny (still the original tranny) keeps screwing up though, I was driving out of my company's driveway and I took my foot off the gas to coast to the stop sign (i was going like 50mph) at any rate, as soon as i took my foot off the gas, the nose of the car dove down and the car slowed to 25 pretty abruptly; almost like i hit the brake hard, but I never touched the brake. It's a good thing nobody was behind me. I've gotta get my car looked at :/

...if it does turn out to be tranny, I'm going to see if I can have them install a high performance tranny...then maybe I won't have to worry about the F*ing thing dying through normal use. That way if I feel like abusing the car one day, it won't hurt too much.

This is ridiculous because my dad has a 1997 Chrysler Town and Country LXi and the thing runs perfectly and he abuses the shit out of it. He uses it as a truck by hauling sheetrock, flagstone, crushed stone, lumber, trash, tiles, anything heavy, you name it, he'd fill the thing up so the shocks/springs would be fully compressed; the van would have to be floored to get it up to speed fast enough (it's a 3.8L V6). You name it, he's probably done it in the van. The leather interior is in immaculate condition, everything runs perfectly, it's so confusing. It's still on the original tranny, original everything except for front axle, which broke one day for no apparent reason...except it was about -30 Fahrenheit that day (we went on a trip to canada) so the extreme cold may have screwed it up...as the van has been used to non-freezing conditions of new england. It has 150,000miles on it.

Meanwhile, my '98 Accord with less than 90,000mi has a corrupt tranny!!
