.......Use bondo because fiberglass resin is too runny to seal the holes. First you wet sand the holes with 400 grit sandpaper so that the bondo has something porous to adhere to. I put about three coats of bondo on. The first application will be enough so that the next two have something to stick to. After that: Wet sand the area. Mask the three areas and primer. Remove the masking and wet sand again so it's extremely smooth with no ridges, dips, or grooves. Mask your hatch glass and surrounding area - you can't cover too much as the mist is quite fine. Then paint your hatch. If you use paint in a spray can - shoot several coats of clear coat afterwards. If you use a paint gun, as I did, the hardener will effectively seal the paint and make it nice and shiny.....
