Latest example:

As many of you know in previous summers I worked at a summer camp here in Maryland. There are a bunch of international staff from places like the UK (there through an exchange program called BUNAC) who also return each year.

After last summer an email listserv was created for staff members past and present to keep in touch. I recently sent out an email inviting the returning international staff to come down to visit me on their time off to go hang out in the DC bar scene. A few folks expressed interest, and then my friend (who is in College Park, MD at the moment) sent the following:

I will be around this summer also so if anyone wants to see D.C. the way it was meant to be (Drunk and blured) let me know and Mike and I can pick you up or whatever. (***) ***-****. Unforutnately, for most of the summer I have to be in the "real world" but I will be visiting at least twice. Can someone say ott and drunk bus? Ok, hope yall travel safely accross the pond.

(The Ott House is a hick bar in the middle of nowhere, but close to camp.)

Now, okay, on its own this email would be fine. But come on, not only did he say "oh I'm doing the same thing, please oh please pay attention to me," he said that I would drive 45 minutes each way to pick people up at camp when I myself made no such offer!

So yeah that's all I have to say about that.
ppl who atuomatically assume that ur down to do whatever they say?
