I would imagine the one that checks for it being full engaged is for the starter interupt (you can't start a manual without pushing the clutch to the floor. The other might be for the cruise control (I can just tap my clutch pedal and disengage the cruise without interupting power). Sorry, I don't know if that's right or what wires go where.
