3) Clear coat the area
4) Let it sit a few days to properly dry and everything

yea, rubbing compound is like 3k-4k grit sandpaper except comes in a liquid. used with terry cloth towel and it blends the paint it and shit. but finish restorer is a bit finer. heres what im doing to mine so far...
