I've seen live footage of Evanescence and well the singer really needs to learn how to sing. Being a good goth vocalist is hard with Tarja, Floor Jansen and Christina Scabia setting the standards. Haven't seen Hoobanstank to comment, but IMHO they are a tad bit generic.
