I found out today that when my speedometer says 41mph, I'm actually travelling 39mph....not 51.

Whats the point he caught me. He wrote me for 70 in a 55mph instead which I can only think was based on my attitude. If he had pulled my over and just politely said "You were doing 40 in a 35, so I'm gonna have to write you a ticket" I wouldn't have argued with him one bit. Just as I admitted to him that I was speeding a little, but I definitely wasn't going 51mph. Plus, it was mostly his bad attitude that pissed me off, and pisses me off the more I think about it. This is just one more experience that I've had with a cop where the cop has been a complete asshole and thinks he can talk down to everybody just because he/she has a badge.
