Guess what. Despite what many people think, radar detectors really don't work very well. And guess what else. You don't even need radar to write a speeding ticket. In order to be certified at radar, you have to be able to estimate vehicle speeds with your eyes within 0-5 mph consistantly. Once you have that certification, you don't even need radar to write the ticket. You admitted that you were going over the speed limit, and you got off.....be happy about it and go on your way. The Cop let you off, yet he was still a dick??? You seem pretty ungrateful.
