I was just coming home from hanging around with some friends, and I made a left turn onto a 35mph street and started cruising at my usual 40mph. All of a sudden, I see blue lights flashing, I immediately look at my speedometer and notice that it's at 41mph (which means about 39mph), so I'm like "wtf" and pull over. The cop runs up to my car and he starts talking to me like I just killed somebody. "Why are you doing 51 in a 35 zone!?!" I was like :eh: and told him that I was doing
maybe 40mph. Then he tells me I'm lying and that his radar clocked me at 51, which is BS because my Valentine One didn't go off at all. And he says my friend was going the same speed (I asked my friend and he said he was doing about 38) but he couldn't pull both of us over. So I just decide to be nice even though he's obviously lying and I tell him I'm sorry and I didn't realize that I went that fast. Then he checks my license and registration and asks how many speeding tickets I've had (0), and then tells me he's on a call right now (so why the **** did he pull me over?!) so he doesn't have time to write me a ticket, but next time I see him, I should just be honest instead of bullshitting.
So yeah, I think maybe he was just trying to be a dick. :dunno:
