a lot of people seem pleased with just the vafc for tuning on their NA cars. I don't know of many running Hondata on their mostly stock cars.

Check the pricing of VAFC against the basic Hondata setup, if their is a major price difference go with the cheapest one, if the pricing is similar I'd spend the little bit extra for the Hondata. I believe you can adjust your ignition timing on the Hondata, while you can only do fuel map changes on the VAFC's. I could be wrong there.
