I've always taken some silicone and dabbed it over the screw itself and the end of the screw once I had it in place. This works great cause it will help hold the screw in place and most people are not going to want to sit there and pick the silicone off of the end of the screw just to be able to steal a lip. And a lip isn't something that you yourself will probably be taking off on a regular basis but if you have to it would just take you a few extra minutes and a knife to get the screws out.
