I got a 98 Isuzu Rodeo with 50k miles on it and it runs like a charm. The engine is smooth, burns no oil, start every time cold or hot. I use regular Penzoil because it is not a daily driver and get oil change every 3k miles, where most are from winter driving.

The Passport was a low grade Isuzu rebadged to be a Honda. It is strange that it a noticeable number of them didn't do well. I guess Isuzu didn't want to do a good job on those vehicles since they're not going to be Isuzu vehicles.
