It needs oil to work sure but the ecu controls it. If it's oil pressure that engauges it at least explain why you think you're right instead of repeating what someone else said. I'm not even going into how it works to prove I'm right when you're saying stuff like "I'm sure the ecu has something to do with it". Learn about it before you post please.
