Alright. First things first, you have to decide first if you believe the Bible. If you believe in the Bible and believe that what it says is true, then I have some thoughts that I'd like to share.

If you however do not believe in the Bible, then my thoughts will do no good, as I base them off scripture.

Having said that, let's go!

Firstly, I believe there is a Heaven and a Hell. When Jesus was crucified, he went to the Gates of Hell and took the Keys to Death, Hell, and the Grave. Those who have not followed Jesus's salvation plan will be cast into the Lake of Fire.

Before Jesus ascended into the clouds, he stated that he was going to prepare a place for us, that where he is, we may be also. Not to mention John the Revelator describes Heaven as he was shown in a dream.

Now, as far as your body's physical appearance, I believe that you will appear as you are now. However, the physical limitations that hinder us now will be gone.

We first caught a glimpse of what our bodies will do when Jesus appeared to the disciples after he arose from the grave. What did he do that was so great? He walked through walls? He dissapeared and reappeared at will. Crazy. There are also scriptures that indicate we will retain our physical, yet physically modified, bodies.

1 John 3:2 - Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

1 Corinthians 15:44 - It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

Keep in mind that this is referencing the Rapture, when Jesus comes back the "dead in Christ shall be caught up to meet him." Those who have died, their spirits will be united with their physical bodies and they will be resurrected, just as Jesus was.

I know in conversations like this there can be a lot of disputes. I welcome all thoughts.
