I've been trying to get the hang of it in my CRX but its difficult. My feet are too big so I can't heel-toe exactly I have to kind of rock my foot to the gas pedal from the brake. Any tips? I'd like to get the technique down. My sticky throttle might not be helping much either. I was think if I got new pedals with the grippier stuff for the brake and the larger smooth gas pedal it would help. Thanks.
I would suggest doing it without using the brake first. Just get on a straight and level road (that doesn't have anyone on it) and just practice blipping the throttle before downshifting. Get that part of it smooth. Then try doing it with the brake. The way I was taught, the balls of your toes are on the brake pedal and your heel controls the gas. I usually just sort of rock my foot over and hit the gas with my heel/side of the foot. Closely spaced pedals may help also.

It isn't all that useful in day to day driving, but it's kinda fun.
