ok. so my friend just bought the car. just put an alternator in it, and a new battery. sucker started, all is good. no. the next day the starting motor didn't want to catch at all....just this continuing clicking noise when you turn the key, figured either not enuogh juice or something wrong with the starter motor. then today it started, ran fine. shut it off, tried to start it again, no go. all that happens when I turn the key is that annoying beeping, the park brake light comes on, then in the middle the high beam headlight light and both turn signal lights come on and stay on......the fuel pump doesn't kick in, starter doesn't kick over, nothing at all. any idea on what is causing this problem?
