So I just installed my new tein s techs on the rear struts of my 95 civic. Couple of questions though.

1: Why does it look like the springs acctually raised the ride hight in the back, now remember that I have not yet put the front ones on, so is it possible that when the fronts are installed the back will lower? Also one of my friends told me that I may need to let the springs settle then it lower, if this is true about how long will this take?

2: Second problem; when we recomressed the struts to bolt it onto the rear hub the passenger rear strut started to leak oil. Then when we lowered the car back onto the wheels then the driver one started to leak oil as well. All in all the both leaked plenty of oil. When driving the car it does not seem to bounce, but I do know that I need to replace them. So what would you guys recomened for replacment struts and were can I get them. Also about how serious is this problem?
