depends. i have a civic and two different sets of tires and rims. light rim and different tire in the front because front wheel drive. i set mine up to match my demands. so i don't rotate my tires, they are unidirectional anyways. stock tires should be rotated according to manual because they have their own engineering make long livity of the axle/suspension and tire. if your looking for keeping your car for a long time keep to the manual.
