i'm trying to take the transmission housing apart from the clutch housing but something seems to not be co operating.
i've taken all the bolts off around the housing, and followed the steps in the helms except for removing the snap ring under the sealing bolt because i just don't see how that can be done.

i've cracked open the housing, theres a 2 mm gap between the trans and clutch housing but it ain't coming off.
what am i missing?
