Maybe that's only the older Civic chassis are built that way? I also believe the HaSport cable/hydro conversion kit comes with at least 1 custom mount (a top one I believe) to bolt the tranny in. Maybe they just include it because the way their kit works (it just actuates the cable with the hydro's slave cylinder).

I'm only using the 2 side mounts & the Rear Mount as of right now.. if the motor seems to move to much i'll fab up a front crossmember & put a mount on it.. if not.. screw it!!!
Like i said.. i've modded the pedel so that it works.. i have the clutch cable directly connected to the pedel.
