The strongest influence, however, is the predominantly democrat controlled media. Like it or not, thats the reality. Although you've got Foxnews which is more towards the right and much of talk radio, thats not where most of the public get their news.

Most people don't follow the news closely. What little they get comes from CNN, MSNBC, ABCNews, etc. So they get one-sided reports. But because people don't bother to investigate anything thats all they know about the world.

And from personal experience I've found that the news media, when reporting on something I have first-hand knowledge of, never get things right. In one case, when there was that airplane accident in Taiwan a few years ago, they got the location on the incident completely wrong. Dont they check sources?

And of course the media loves sensationaism. There was an article just yesterday about an egg exploding in someone's face because they heated it in a microwave. They make it sound like it happens all the time. They do this with everything because of course, more than anything else what they want is ratings.

I pride my self on being open-minding and honestly do consider various sides of an argument. I have yet to hear truly compelling as to what Bush is doing wrong and why Kerry should be elected. All I've heard to date is what organizations like CNN have spoon-fed to the public.
I'll give you a couple concrete examples what he's doing wrong: No Child Left Behind has put huge strain on state's budgets with no benefit to students, he deregulated the energy laws to allow the whole Enron scandal, his "Clean Skies" intuitive actually allow business to pollute more, all but one state that has accepted the new federal mandate of teaching abstinence has an increasing teen pregnancy rate. That's the mere surface at that.

Back on topic, I approve I think I'll throw $50 of my money that way when I get my next paycheck
