It sounds like BS to me too.

But for the quality of the hardware and appearance AEM can't be beat. IMO. I always go with AEM Cold air intakes. The clamps/mounts/etc. always hold up. I have seen some of my friends stuff fall apart over time and leak air.

But I thought the AEM V2 was a cold air intake that was just larger diameter of tubing?
