Hi all....After spending a few weeks, surfing around here, I've finally come up with something to ask....First, Within the next month or month-and-a-half, i would like to buy the 2004 Civic Si....but before i went ahead, i would like some more help....I was a huge fan of the 99-00 style Civic Si, i'm sure lots were too....I especially loved the fact that car got everything for it.....Not just your 3 basic bolt-ons.....My first question would be: Will the 04 Si's recieve more than just the 3 basic aftermarket bolt-ons, ie, pullys, cams, pistons, rods? Bodykits, really do nothing for me(but the HFP is actually pretty sweet), speed is what i'm after, and the Si is what my bank account will let me buy, lol.....
In my humble opinion, baechoo...wait till the next generation Si debuts. Power is supposed to be increased, possibly by implanting the k20a2 from factory, and will come in coupe form.
This was my other question...I have heard about the Next Si coming in a coupe form..What I would like to know, will it be the civic coupes which are out now, but will they just in-turn receive, hopefully, the K20a2 engine, some wish full thinking here, maybe the HFP too? I know that the HFP is optional with the coupe, but coming standard would be nice….. One concern with the K20a2 is, won't Honda be concerned with sales affecting the RSX-S, if the next generation Si does indeed give birth to the K20a2 engine? Are there any pictures that show-off the NEW style Si coupe? I can seriously understand Honda's attention of wanting to add more power to the Si models, seeing how Toyota is just on a spree of releasing some nicely beefed up cars, ie, the Corolla XRS, and the Sicon Tc which will come in 2 different power level models...
All the help will be appreciated.....Thank you....
