i applied under political science cuz i was taking a polisci class at a JC and thought it was really interested. i also excelled in govt/history classes in high school.

once accepted, i thought i might give computer engineering/comp science a try. i had taken ap calc/phys/chem/etc.. in high school and had the sat2's up there so i switched to comp engineering. took 2yrs worth of courses, finished all the math/chem/physics requirements, as well as lower div. comp engineering courses. then, reality struck and it sucked. i def. did not want to be an engineer, nor take another 2yrs worth of engr. courses

i went back to political science and really enjoyed it. i could goto class, have fun, take notes, ace exams, and be on my merry way. i zoomed through the major which opened up another area for me.

i added sociology as another major and took those courses. the mix b/w the two (polsci & soc) was great. needless to say, i finished the two majors in 2yrs.

graduated on time (4yrs) even though i was delayed because of my prior major path. im happy with my decision, i have contemplated going to law school (took a practice lsat) and also flirted w/the possibility of getting an mba.

money was never an issue for me :dunno: .. 1yr later (after graduating) i consider myself to be on a pretty good path to success.
