Well you can get a "scrubber" program and it writes over any deleted files like 16 different times with random sequences of numbers but I don't think there are too many available out there anymore.
BTW if you delete a file and have this there will be absolutely no way to reclaim it and I am not sure that they work very well and may be a lot of hype in the long run.
