The state Health Department has issued an advisory to Lehigh Valley residents to be aware of strep throat and skin infections, which have led to the deaths of three Northampton County residents in recent days. The deaths include a teenage boy from Pen Argyl, whose death already been disclosed, and an unidentified adult from Pen Argyl. apparantly all of these people had strep for several weeks, combined with terrible canker sores on their tongues, and strange red spots on their arms and legs. my friend has had these exact syptoms for the past month and a half. i'm really worried about him. he doesn't have insurance yet (kicks in in august) and no money. i think i'm going to make him go to the hospital anyway.
