I used to have a 'type-r style' grille. Didn't fit well, and the bottom half didn't attach to the bumper properly.
FYI: There's an easy way to break into 6th gens, even with alarms, if you have a grill that doesn't connect to the bumper. It's not very difficult to pull it from the bottom, reach up in there, snap the hood-release cable, and pop the hood, thus gaining access to the battery, which, when unplugged, renders the alarm useless (unless you have a backup). Yeah, I know from experience.... :happysad: at least I got a better system out of it
