What are the benefits of paying extra for a K&N or Mobil 1 filter?
The problem I've seen with Fram is that they use too much cardboard inside the filter. It just can't hold up to the pressures created by some engines (Honda)
I had to rebuild the engine in my Trans Am because a Fram filter came apart and pluged the oil pick up thus starving the engine for oil. Lucky for me because the previous owner did it and I got the car cheap and put a new engine in it for $700.
