1998 Accord Check Engine Problem
I have a 1998 Accord LX 4 Cyl. The "check engine" light came last week, took it to the dealer and he said there was some problem (I don't remember the code) with 3rd/4th gear shifting, fixed it and charged me $85. The "check engine" light came back again next day (last Friday), so I took it back to him. Now he says it's a different problem (different code from last time) and now the problem is related to some kind of valve related to Fuel (burnt vs. unburnt) that's not functioning now and that it will cost be $700 to get it fixed..He is saying it's because of rust/corrosion etc. that has built up over the years.
NEED HELP.....Please advise if this is something that would cost $700 to fix. I called a few places (not dealers) but they wouldn't touch an import.. Please help....
