like engine code
year
etc.

if your car is knocking, the motor will not last much longer if you allow it to continue.

you should check your ignition timing with a timing light, and make sure you dont have contaminated fuel or water in your fuel system. also make sure your running 93 octane.

pre-detonation (knocking) is caused by a number of things:
insufficient fuel octane
advanced/improper ignition timing
faulty knock sensor
