It's a metal box that you put cheese or something yummy in..The mouse gets into the box and can't get out. It doesn't suffocate, slow poison or maim them. I think my dad got our from a feed store. We had a mouse problem in the barn because of the grain for the horses so my dad caught them all and when he went riding he'd drop them off a couple miles out in the wilderness.
