all my hardcore linux nerd friends, run windows boxes to do a lot of the normal day to day stuff (word processing, photoshop and other stuff)
their linux boxes are the standard text view, and run their firewall, ip masquerade, web servers and programming on.
i took my linux box down. i took me 2 weeks to get ip forwarding to work, in windows i just checked off one box and was done in 2 seconds. i'm a linux noobie
