I have been forced to show my cards when I called the bet at Hawaiin Gardens. If you call the bet the other person is entitled to see your cards, but if they dont say anything you can just muck the hand.

A trick that I do is that if im beat I just fling my cards into the stack, therefore if the person wanted to see my hand they wouldnt be able find my cards.
