The whole "high" or "low" resistance arguement is a marketing scam in itself. It doesn't really matter how much resistance the wires have, the spark still has to arc over a ~.040" gap. .040" of free air space is pretty damn high resistance.

If you all care so much about spark energy, get a CDI box like an MSD or Jacob's ignition and stick with NGK wires.

On a sub note, larger wires (9mm+) tend to have the same core size as the smaller wires, only with more insulation.
