I found out the best way to try to get rid off rubbing is to roll up your rear fender lip ... you may ask how ? what you want to do is too lift your car up with a jack and take a wooden baseball bat or and aluminum one and slightly lower the jack while the bat is under the wheel well just enough so you can roll the bat the inner fender lip will roll up with out causing your paint to chip or crack also you wont ruin you inner fender by trying to cut it . next time on bigger wheel applications u never want to exceed a 205/40R17 " tire on smaller compacts. the bigger the wheel the smaller you want to keep your sidewall size. hope this helps.
