I couldn't care less about being seen in a $80k Chrysler product that gets whipped up on by 4-bangers at the drag strip. Especially if the ones that do it are only worth $4k, that's embarrassing. I grew up with Cobras, Panteras and GT-40's, so by no means am I a stranger to expensive cars. To me, building performance is a lot more interesting than buying it. But like I said, that's just me.

k, so for some reason I can't attatch them... but i have a .mpg of a 12 sec caravan toasting an ss camaro, and of a neon handing it to a viper.
IMO, an 11 second Geo is far more impressive than a viper, modena, heck even a bugatti or maclaren. Anyone can buy a car. It takes creativity and enginuity to build something fast, original, and unconventional.
