Hell no.........you can bash on the supra all you want because it doesn't really bother me that much. People who will never own one who just bash on it to make themselves feel better isn't something that pisses me off. I will not argue with the fact that besides the 5.0 mustangs DSMs are the best bang for the buck out there. For the money I spent buying my supra bone stock I could have 2 10 second DSMs

For me though I like things that are true sports cars and have the whole "wow" factor. That being said I'm buying a Viper GTS

so continue bashing the supra! Also, somehow I doubt you were in the market for a MKIV supra if you ended up with a GSX and are in your own words a "cheap bastard" The price difference is HUGE between those 2 cars.
How did I ever bash a Supra? I complained about attitudes of the car owners... when I've attempted to do research on the car that required interaction with a human, I ran into a lot of assholes, but I know they aren't ALL bad. That's the only negative thing I said about anything remotely related to a Type IV. I guess I'd be that way too if I had a 4-digit car payment. I've seen a Hyundai walk an SRT-10, and I'm not saying that makes a Hyundai a better car (go
HERE if you don't believe me). Everyone seems to be missing the point here. I don't care so much about what car beats what car. Anything can beat anything if it's built right.
And yes. I was in the market for a Type IV. I couldn't believe that a 10 year old bucket of bolts... as nice as they are... still costs $36,000. I found a GSX that needed transmission work for 1/5 that after I repaired it, and decided that I should rather be spending money on Real Estate. So, I guess I "settled" on the GSX if you call it that, for something that's a lot more important than a car to me, and I don't regret that decision for one single moment. Maybe someday I'll still get a Type IV, but for now, I'm certainly not disappointed with any of my cars or jealous of anybody.
PS: Why a Viper? If you want wow factor... Go for the Ford GT!
