shaving emblems is easy.

1.) remove emblem
2.)there maybe some sort of rubber insert in the holes that the emblems mounts into. remove that rubber.
3.) sand the area beneath the original emblem down to the bare metal.
4.) take screw driver and hammer and knock that are down so it isn't as flush as the rest of the hood or whatever it is that you are shaving.
5.) take fiberglass mat and resin/hardner mix.
6.) cut the mat into shape of the dent
7.) dip the mat into the resin/hardner mixture.
8.) apply the fiberglass mat over dent.
9.) let it dry and if more fiberglass is required to get the area flush apply more fiberglass in the same way.
10.) sand the fiberglass so it's pretty smooth with the metal.
11.) if you are happy with the flushness, whip out the good ol' bondo.
12.) if you did the fiberglass part well, you'll need very little bondo.
13.)mix up the bondo (a good mix is when bondo is just a light shade of pink)
14.) apply the bondo where needed (to get it smooth as possible.)
15.) start sanding.
16.)keeping applying and sanding until it's smooth. when doing body work feel the area. if you can't feel a ridge or bump going from the metal to the bondo, it's getting good.
17.) up the grit of sand paper and keep going up till it's smooth and you can't tell if it's metal or bondo you are going over.
18.) primer it up
19.) paint it up.


Emblems are easy to do. May take you an hour or two the first time, but after you've done it. I've seen 'em shaved perfectly in 20 - 30 mins.

Integra side moldings can be done in the same way. As wel las the accord side moldings.

Civic side modlings, BAH! Leave 'em on there. not worth the hassle.


Shaving door handles requires you to weld because of the side of the hole left when you remove the door handles.

As for shaving lince plate frames. Antenna's small enough to use fiberglass. did my antenna in that way.
