The way I see it, there is no compromise in this situation, you either stay in Oregon close to your daughter or move away to find a better financial situation. No matter how you look at it, moving away means that you will be less of a part of your daughter's life. I'm sure that if you choose to stay in Oregon to be with your daughter, you will find a way to make ends meet, even if it does mean working multiple low paying jobs, but it also means that you will probably be worse off financially and your life is going to be pretty busy. So the question is how important is being a part of your daughter's life to you? Is it more important than your financial status and the amount of stuff you have to put up with? We can't answer those questions for you.
