in reality, with a subwoofer, you'll have a 3 way system... the sub for low frequencies, "woofer" in the coaxial/component speakers for "midrange" and "midbass" frequencies, and the tweeters for high frequencies.

I also recomend a 2-way system, unless you can afford something like Bostons $750 Pro series 3-way component set and a powerful amp to power them. They have a true midrange driver, versus basically another tweeter in cheaper coaxial speakers.
