do you have a lot of carbon built up on your exhaust tip?...with the car running have a friend give it some stops of the gas (don't have to go to redline) and look for puffs of black smoke...i'm starting to think you maybe running rich and have a bad o2 sensor

if you had a dead cylinder you'd have a rythmic shaking of the car
