It's not DEFINITELY the starter. I too have this problem intermittently. I push start my car and it's good. I can't explain it. Same year, same model, same tranny, same problem.
PMG relay maybe then? I know it goes bad on the 4th Gen's (not sure of the 5th gen's);
Oh the horror of replacing that god forsaken relay that's up there in the dash, I still have nightmares about that relay!
